Hello I have a question about Class A pumpers. We have a 1988 Peirce Pumper/Tanker. It has a 1250GPM pump and a 2500 gallon tank. We use this as our 2nd out engine or a tanker. W have been told it needs to be replaced or Refrubished when it is 25 years old. It has an open rear cab seating for 2 (one on each side of the motor). It passes it's pump test each year without any problems. The truck is in great shape and only has 18,500 miles on it. Do we need to have this truck replaced or refrubished or can we keep this truck as a Class A pumper as long as it Passes it's pump test. Trying to find out what it right.
Thanks
Tim
