I am heading up a recruiting effort to find public educators /firefighters who will present Operation Lifesaver programs to their community. OL is a railroad safety program that can be presented to any age. It is an excellent way to influence those hard to reach high schoolers through driver's education and the tresspassing program could be presented to junior high students. It can also be taught to the general public, bus drivers and professional truck drivers. I am heading up the effort in Alabama, so Alabamians contact me via email. If you are from another state, look up your state OL Director on the National OL site. www.oli.org

To Alabamians:

The presenters course is four (4) hours in Alabama. All materials needed to make a presentation are provided. It only takes four (4) presentations per year to maintain certification. Those four are covered in one day at the high school (six classes = 6 presentations) We are looking for presenters in any Alabama community.
