I am new to this forum, so a big hello to all...
Basically, I am a british citizen, living in the UK, but I would like to work as a firefighter in 2010, preferably in Utah or California.
The plan is to do my EMT (basic) in the off season of this year and then apply next year.
I was hoping to find out though if this at all possible, if anyone knows of other foreigners getting work as a firefighter, and what the chances of doing so are?
Also, am I correct in saying that I would need a H-2a visa for doing such work, and am I liable to be granted one ?
Any help with any of my questions would be great!
