Wctc Fire I

Does anyone know if WCTC will have any summer classes in 2009 for Fire I? Do they typically have summer courses or just spring/fall? Nothing is listed on the schools site yet. I will have my EMT-B completed in may and am hoping to get started asap on fire I.

Can't answer for your area, but in our neck of the woods, we typically don't see FF1 classes over the Summer, just Fall/Winter. I think they have a hard time filling the Summer classes.

Wctc will be running a summer fire I course. I think registration begins this month. Out of curiousity, do u take your emt course mon-weds nights? I am currently in that class. Anyways, hope the info helps! Good luck!

Wow, I'm coming back to this one way late, but I ended up taking my FFI at Gateway, and Hoser, I'm 99% sure your were an instructor. You might remember "team Indy" in Fall 09. I worked in Ron's team.

Update: I've got FFII (GTC again) and I'm working on Inspector at the Racine campus. When I posed that question back in Apr 09 I was not with a FD but I've been POC at St. Francis just over a year now.
