    Default Harness Question

I was wondering if anyone know of a class II harness made to go inside your turnout paints? Or if not one that may not be designed to be inside the paints but works well for you. I want to go from a gut belt to a harness but I can not put the tabs on the outside of my dept issue bunker gear. And I am not willing to buy my own pants. Thanks in advice.

A few years back Morning Pride was making a harness that integrated with their turn out pants. I believe it was a type 2 harness that fit between the shell and liner. I am not sure if they still make it.

janesville did the same thing for a little while. without making big alterations to your turnouts i don't see how you could put a harness in a pair not already set up for it

    Default RNR Turnout Harness

I have one of these installed in my Morning Pride bunkerpants. It is easy to install and comfortable.

thats smart, with all of the junk our goods get exposed to having the harness at least covered by the outer shell makes sense.

My old fd had Morning Pride w/the integrated harness. I was allowed to keep my gear, and now wear the harness w/my current gear between the inner and outer shell.

I called them yesterday and they have a new one that is not even on the internet yet. They are going to email some pics in a week or two I will post them when I get them and see what everyone thinks. Thanks for the posts and help.

All nice harnesses but I do not want to buy new paints. Why would I buy new pants on my own when my dept gives me a set of gear to wear? I never did get why anyone would buy there own gear unless they are instructing or something. Thanks again

RIT Rescue systems makes a class II harness that can be worn either inside or outside your gear. It has d rings that you put over the snaps of the liner/shells. It is designed to go in between the shells and liners. I wear one directly against my body. Less unsnapping and more comfortable. I can get you one if interested.

Hey fields would prob be able to tell you for sure, but I think they wear spearian gear and cairins helmets. I know that is what they use to wear. I have seen some pic's online with some of the guys wearing Morning pride so I don't know for sure.

I do believe anyone who gets new gear is issued Spearian...formerly Seceritex. It provides adequate protection I guess, but doesnt seem like it holds up as long as the better known brands. I guess they prob. cost less than the othrs

Very few guys have MP gear. I am told they were given to field test.

    We have cairns helmets...
