I have repeatedly tried posting on this site. None of my posts will go through, it just kicks me back to what ever part of the form the thread was in. I read in this "sites comments" forum that you have to post 10 times... how can you post 10 times if you cant even get one single post to show up??? this is a huge turn off to this site, and I've never had such a problem like this before on other forums.
You have posted...It just takes the thread administrator time to approve them. After ten then the admin does not need to approve them any more. Consider it a probie period like a real fire house.

Yes my posts finally did get posted, though it did take about 10 days for them to show up. If there are too many posts to get approved for the admin to be able to approve them in a reasonable amount of time, maybe they should get another admin.

Same here, but I understand why. We don't need spammers/haters posting so its a nice precaution..
Years back when this site came on line, posters were few and posts appeared right after you hit submit. With so many firefighter and no firefighter folks coming in, the web team monitors the new folks posts for a few posts. We have ended up with a lot of "members" that have no business in here but by some quirk, they slide through the cracks. They get a lot of new folks, that is nothing but spammers and hackers.
Probies, be patient. ;)
