We have had our share of applications not get past the computer scoring, especially Vehicle requests. Anyone want to take a stab at identifying the most common causes of computer generated DJ's?
Like:
1) Fleet of a specific type not old enough.

1. Age of the fleet
2. cost benefit for the project is to high
3. not enough information
4. shopping list and putting over cost benefit
5. pick a vehicle that is not priority for you area
6. financial need
7. request equipment at a high price when a lower price of equipment will do

these are some Idea I can think of off the top of my head from going to Kurt seminar and I know he has brought up many of the issue why in the seminar but I don't remember all of them with out looking at the handout that he provides in his classes. Try getting hooked up with one of the guys doing the grant writing seminar and go to one and find out why you are not getting funded. I know from attending the seminar that Chief supply put on it is worth it weight in gold for the price that you pay. So I suggest get with them and get the information that they can provide you.
