Default Why old people shouldn't drive

This is a true story.... Check this out... These two old people (75), a man and his wife, were on the way to Glens Falls, NY and stopped at McDonalds in Fultonville, NY last Fall and did not know they had hit this deer !! Someone in McDonalds had to tell them. The old man said he noticed the car was starting to "run a little hot" the last few miles !!!!!

I've been to the Fultonville Mcdonalds and the one in the photo is not Fultonville. Second, if he was driving to Glens Falls which is about 60 miles from Fultonville I would expect the deer's head to be nothing but a bloody stump...judging by the picture.....I call BS!

Easy Tiger, there are are at LEAST 8 McDonalds in between the 2 locations (I just did a google map search.)

Do you REALLY know what each location looks like and that this picture couldn't be between the 2 locations? If you do, man, lay off on the cheeseburgers lol.

I've been to the McDonalds in Fultonville as well. This could be the one. However since I don't spend a lot of time at these places, in fact about once every two or three years is enough, I can't vouch for the accuracy of this photo, but anything is possible

Even though my ultimate goal is to live long enough to be so old I never have to ask for a senior citizen's discount,I remember that old people drive about 10 miles an hour.
At that speed there will be enough deer left to tell what it was and depending on how many trail cameras are in use in the area, just where it came from.

    Must be.
There is a Waterways Journal article about a brand new towboat just put in service that can run from New Orleans to Boyce La, about 235 miles in 2 HOURS.
I don't wanna deck or drive that boat.I just want to sit on the bank and watch it go by.
Now,we return you our regularly scheduled thread already in progress.

It's just old people there? One of our City Councilors drove into 7-11 a few months ago... apparently the percusset was a little stronger than she realized.

Can't say why they were going, just that they were.

And yes, I will be old soon, sooner than you think. And when I get to be a danger on the roads I hope that someone takes away my license if I don't recognize the problem myself.

Hopefully, they'll take the keys as well. Not having a license doesn't stop some people from driving.

    Talking Well.............

I don't remember who said this..............."It's Hell getting old. Most of my friends are gone, I can't remember the ones that are still here, I use a Walker to get around, My Glasses look like Bulletproof Glass, I wear Hearing aids, but they don't help any more, I think everything looks fuzzy, I can't seem to get my hands and feet to move the way I want them to go, My Prescriptions are measured by the Pounds instead of Milligrams. BUT THANK GOD I STILL HAVE MY DRIVER'S LICENSE.........."
