Hi,

I am an Undergraduate in University College Dublin, Ireland and I am doing a thesis on GIS and Disaster Management: A Comparison of American and Irish Approaches.

I am concentrating on California and Indiana for this project in America. I have a few queries about how fire departments are funded and is it possible to get actual amounts for specific fire stations?

If anyone could point me in the right direction for these figures, or knew them, I would greatly appreciate it. I am continuing research already undertaken last year and have specific towns for which budget figures would be greatly appreciated. I will not publish the stations concerned but I will email them to anyone that contacts me regarding this.

I would also like to get some feedback from any fire fighting department in Indiana and California on the use of GIS. I would be more than willing to speak in person or email a survey to anyone that would help me with this.
