I searched this topic and found nothing that helped me. What are the odds for a burn trailer/tower/building for an AFG grant? Houses are becoming hard to find and there is no place close for live burn training. Let me know what you think.

Advice for Grant?

If I understand correctly, there may be a chance for a mobile burn trailer, but the AFG wil not fund construction projects. (Stimulus firehouses maybe)Glenn Rainey

A tower or a building is prohibited by AFG rules. Per the PG (Training):
Ineligible activities in this area include:
•construction of facilities, such as classrooms, buildings, towers etc.;
•firefighting equipment or PPE for use in training exercises, such as SCBA;
•modular training units that are not trailer-mounted or are otherwise immobile;
•site preparation to accommodate any training activity, facility, or prop;
•purchase or lease of real estate; and
•remodeling that is not directly related to other grant activities.
