    Default FDNY Worship Thread

C'mon. We all know we do, and it's high time we all come out of the closet, hold hands, and bring our worship into the light of day. I, for one, am tired of being ashamed by my department crush. I am sick of being judged. Come on guy's - it's ok to admit it, now that it has been brought out in the open.

I don't think God likes you worshiping another idol. I think some guy read that on a stone somewhere or something..

Personally, I could care less about what goes on in NYC. It's a different world altogether

I'm wondering......could you really "care less"? This indicates that you currently do care.

All joking aside, while I'm from the West Coast I wish all my brothers in FDNY, and everywhere else, a safe career. This West vs. East ****ing match is entertaining, but also a little sad.

Actually. To be able to care less, you would have to care a little in the first place. To be unable to care less means you care not at all.

we sacrifice a few rookies a year to the FDNY, LAFD, and PFD gods.

We have a really cool alter with some roto-rays and a Q on it. The high chief wears a leather helmet that we burned in the oven so he'll look really salty and experienced.

...only if we get to sing Coumbya (sp?)

All joking aside....I do respect what FDNY does, they seem to do it well, and to be honest...I don't really know a whole lot about FDNY.

I used to wear it at 250 Livingston St. Anybody know where that is?

Was that from the best selling fiction book of all time? I'd sooner worship the FDNY, at least I can put my hands on a Halligan, true proof that they've done something positive for humankind! Yeah, I know I'm going to hell. Do I have to beleive that too?

Between Hoydt and Bond. About 2 or 3 blocks in from Flatbush Ave. And about 10 blocks from #9 MetroWreck.

I worship Phoenix and LA County.

And also the truckies in New Orleans.

Psssssssssst .. that last one was for FFred because he has demonstrated so much admiration for their work on these threads as well.

I am a fan of the FDNY. Specifically I am a fan of the miriad of apparatus and the vast number of past and present internationally known instuctors.

My number one FD to fan though is Boston. I can't explain why but it has always interested me.

Seems as though you cared enough to post...twice...in this thread.

And you have commented on more than one occasion about FDNY apparatus accidents and line of duty deaths.

So you see...you actually do care. Even if it is just a little bit.
