Farmers have a huge problem with Kudzu in some areas, since it will start out across a tilled field very quickly. Kudzu will also Climb anything, and often kills trees by simply smothering the tree with it's vine structure. We've had a bit of it show up here, and a dose of Roundup Herbicide will quickly remove it. Some Farm related Organizations such as the National Farm Bureau are trying to get it added to the Federal Government's list of invasive species so the cost of eradicating it can be partially offset by Government Grants.....

No kidding, those boys have been working their collective butts off, to get the building in the dry. Hell the foreman had them in their socks last week then they were finishing the concert and it was around 36 degrees. It's been in the 20's these last two days, while they have been setting the the steal, talk about having cold hands. We are looking at having the building in the dry in a couple of weeks, that is if the weather holds out. But it supposed to snowrain for the next few days. Oh well only time will tell. As to the pictures of the progress, I keep you guys up to date.

    Your Dad is cool Bull.

My Dad used to let me play with 'his' trains, until they became mine. I haven't had time in years.

    You're a lucky man sir.

    Thanks,

I'm kinda fond of the "old man" myself. He always been a great Dad. Now that he is a grandfather, he's no where near as tough as he was when we were growing up But all kidding aside, I hope that I can be as good of a father to my little girl as he is/was to me and my brother growing up.

    Well spoken sir.

Remember when you were 17-18 years old? Remember how much smarter you were than your Dad?

After I turned about 25, the older I got, the smarter my Dad got.

When I hit 40, my dream was to be as smart as my dad... along with your well stated 'hope' above.

Now at 55, I conclude this: No matter how hard I work, I will never fill my dad's big shoes, or equal his intelligence, nor become the man he was.

Some heros are just meant to be... well, Dad.

I thank you for a very nice reminder of my own history.

Pardon me while this old guy reflects for a while.

Well, you don't put oysters in Brunswick stew, you could bring some squirrel though. Heck you can bring the oysters if you feel like it and we think of something to use them in. And Drew, NO MTN. OYSTERS, you hear!

    Not today or anytime soon.

Harve, as a matter of fact, I'm eating some good old Brunswick stew, right now. Mom made some for Christmas, used Grandpa's recipe. Best in the world, but I don't think that it has any Hare in it, this time.
