Im a newly appointed training officer for a volunteer fire department in texas. Im applying for a grant to get some training supplies. I was wondering if anyone had some low cost ideas for training. Just looking for some brainstorming.

Probably get a larger response for training ideas in the other forum thread, then popping back in here to find grants. TCFP closes March 19th for this series, so if you're TXFIRS have been going in monthly you can chase that for up to $25k. TX Forestry has some money but not a ton. AFG of course opening on March 16th has the most opportunity.

What's your email
I wrote a Regional AFG (3 Departments) in 2008 for an NFPA FF I Academy and NWCG S130/190 Class and A/V Equipment. It was funded first round. I'll send you the narrative if your interested.
I tried your Firehouse Forum profile but it won't let me send you an email.
