vehicle modification

Thinking about putting in this year for hydraulic tools, a command/light tower, and a mobile scba fill station for our rescue truck. I know that the hydraulic tools are considered equipment but would the light tower and fill station be considered equipment or are they considered a vehicle refurb and have to go under the vehicle grant since they would be a modification. Asked at a recent workshop but wasn't able to get a clear answer about which grant they would fall under.

I have received a mobile fill station for a service truck and a remote nozzle for a brush truck. Both of these were entered, and approved, as equipment although they are mounted on a truck. I'd feel fairly confident a light tower would be viewed in the same manner.

Seem to me that they would be under equipment because you are add equipment to a vehicle and really not refurbing a truck. But I would check with Kurt Bradley from Chief grants I believe he might have come across the question many times

I would think it would be consider equipment also but check with Kurt or even Brain and see if they could shed some light on the subject.
