Titusville Fla Fire
TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- A raging wildfire near Titusville burned through the night and could make for difficult driving conditions on Tuesday.
The smoke could mix with early-morning fog in a dangerous combination.
Bulldozers working west of South Lake in Titusville plowed fire lines, but the fire was only about 25 percent contained.
More than 250 acres were charred on Monday night, authorities said.
Light fog mixing with smoke could reduce visibility to near zero, and there's a large amount of smoke.
"That's the worst of all kind. You really don't see anything," truck driver Barry Wise said.
Firefighters withdrew from the area on Monday night and said it was too dangerous to try to battle the blaze in the dark.
They planned to start a back fire on Tuesday morning.
