Close-Out Timing

I submitted our Close-Out data two weeks ago, and I've been checking almost every day to see if the've actually accepted or closed-out my 2007 grant. Am I checking too often? About how long does this "close-out" process typically take?

It took about 4 months for our 2007 close out to be approved. I have gone in one case more than a year before approval. You will recieve an email to your personal and mail center accounts when it's approved.

Thanks! I was hoping that it would be done before 2009 submission, so that at a glance, it wouldn't look like we were behind in our paperwork, but I guess I'll just take a chill-pill (or a double Jim Beam on the rocks!) and wait it out.

As long as the close out has been filed there will be no issues with recieving a grant for 2009.

My 2007 closeout was submitted in August 2008 and I still have nothing. It's on them once it's submitted; you're good to go.

I also submitted mine in nov and just heard back from them, I had to make a simple correction.
