Alcohol and Cocaine. That's quite a combination.

p.s. I had to look up the cocaine... I knew the Ethanol right off the bat, though.

Actually Rick, Coca-Cola is a mixture of many chemicals some of the easier ones to remember off hand are CO2, H2O, H3PO4, C8H10N4O2, C14H18N2O5 (Diet Coke), and the C17H21N04 that you put up. Hey what can I say I'm a friggin chemist.

well in any case, I hoisted a couple of them last night, and there will be more "bats" to follow tonight, I think.

Thanks, Shawn for the chemical assist. Trying to find the actual formula was a real pain, for obvious copyright reasons.

I didnt really cover everything in Coke. But that was just what I remembered from my college analytical chemistry days. Its amazing what you can learn when doing a compositional analysis that the copyrights let companies not tell you.

I was wondering about the cocaine... that's that the net gave me.

Rum and Coca-Cola sounds much better than Rum and cocaine.

C2h5oh + "there are at least 14 syrup ingredients, which the company calls "merchandises" and refers to by number. Some of them are known: Merchandise number 1 is sugar, number 2 is caramel, number 3 is caffeine, number 4 is phosphoric acid, and number 5 is an extract of "decocainized" coca leaves and cola nuts. Beyond that, various chemical analysts have identified the following: cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, glycerine, lavender, fluid extract of guarana, lime juice, and other citrus oils"

The closet thing I could come up with but it doesn't sound as cool.
