Default What in the World is Going On?

With the resurgence of liberalism, I figured that Fox News would be out of business by summer. Now this...

In an ideal world a News-Channel would be News first, and a Channel-second. They would be more concerned with good journalism then about ratings. Of course, the real world is not the ideal and it is naive to think otherwise.

I don't watch any of the news channels, but I do listen to them in the car on the commute home. I've found that while CNN is probably more realistic in its reporting, FOX is more interesting.. mainly because Glenn Beck is so over-the-top. Doesn't make it better news, mind you.. just more fun to listen to while stuck in traffic.

We have Headline News on all day long at work. Before you ask, we are a security operation and hence we need to maintain "World Awareness". I often see HNN give a story or snippet of news, then go in search of more information. With stories of a non-political nature they get it right. Political stories always get misrepresented. They don't lie, they just leave out some of the facts.

My take is that many Americans have no political leanings and are getting feed up with the liberal press, hence turning to something more center of the road or right of center.

Thanks George. I now have to clean the water off my screen.
Politics is like driving. To go forward select "D", to go backward select "R."
