I've noticed some of the photo looks altered. There is a guy whose head is missing and some areas where tree limbs are above the building line but inconsistent with the tree.

I think I found a few. They blend in well.

It is awesome! So cool to be able to look so closely.

The entire image wasn't taken at once.

It's seems to be a series of pics stitched together, albeit very well. There's a lot of people who's heads are shown to be cropped, or in two different positions.

The Supreme Court Justices are to President Hussein's left. Look at the guy behind Alito, on Alito's left (our right).

Also, look at the next row back, further to the right, and you'll see another guy.

Then, look 4 rows behind Cheney. The guy in front of Aretha Franklin is all over the place.

Take a look at the large white camera lens on the left side of the pic, the one with the "AP" sticker on it. Notice the people in the background just above the lens? The are way out of focus. The camera was focused on that lens, not the crowd.

Also, anyone spot the Fire Extinguisher??

I made at least 24 agents. Some are there in attire that folks may not think that they are agents. They don't wear a signs around their necks indicating who they are.

I'll tell you all one. He was standing back behind the president, near a wall next to a soilder with a glove on the left hand and the right hand without a glove and his coat opened. Zoom in on his lapel pin. Plenty others all around too.

I'm in no way a photograpger or know anything about photography but I was under the impression that the exposure time for a pic with this many pixels takes longer to shoot and the missing parts of people could be attributed to movement at the exact time the pic was taken. IMHO

anyone else see the sniper team on the top of the building?

I dont think that the exposure time would be to blame for the picture being skewed in some areas. If it was then most of the crowd would have been looking the same way. I would have to doubt that in the 3 or so seconds that it might take this camera to record that only about 10 or so people actually moved. Its more likely a picure sewing mistake where the two overlapped slightly and while the other picture was being taken someone moved into the same position someone else was in a moment ago and then when they were sewed together the two people got overlapped.

Anyone catch YoYo Ma snapping a pic? He's just to the left of the choir in red on the second level up. I'm still looking for Aretha tho', where was she?

disregard, found her! It's like playing "Where's Waldo?" I particularly like the disembodied hat to Aretha's left (our right) and the lower half of a man's face just below hers!

It is a very kuul photo. Kinda gives rise to just how well some cameras and their operators can do the job.

Maybe "disembodied" is the operative word....... maybe he "isn't REALLY there"???

Watch the video. There wasn't 1 long exposure shot like the old fashion panoramic cameras.

He took the photo with a "typical camera." he just took 220 photos and " Stitched" them together. They were at different times and there most likely has to be small errors along the way.

thats kinda what i was saying. When he took the pictures he made them overlap a bit, so when he took the first one to the far left lets say, and moved over to take the next one, someone walked into an area where someone was once standing, then when he stitched those together they overlapped in that area and instead of being just one person there were 2 overlapped.
