I'm trying to spearhead a program of pursuing the aquisition of buildings before they are demolished for use of my dept for training purposes. I was curious how others addressed the issues acompanied with doing so.
The best ways to convince property owners to "donate" the buildings?
What type of incentives could be offered to them?
How to address the issues of liability for the property owner and dept?
And any other snags your dept may have run into before and how they might be addressed.
Thanks in advance.

I too am looking for the same kind of information on how to acquire structures for training purposes before they get demolished. Let me know if you have found anything out so far.
