Hello all.I'm thinking of being a volunteer firefighter ,but I'm can't decide whether I should go for it or not.Part of me is excited about doing the job and doing something worthwhile.The negative side is I don't know exactly what to expect.Juggling my regular job with the training and drills and calls of being a firefighter.I don't want to go get the physical and decide to back out.I have my other paperwork filled out.They want me to go to a drill on Tuesday.I know you guys/girls can't decide for me,but any advice or anecdotes you have about your own experiences when you joined would be helpful.Thank you in advance.
