Today I got a call from my friend saying he had a surprise for me. I went to his office/shop to check it out. Turns out my friend's boss just purchased a 1983 Spartan/Pirsch pumper at auction for the heck of it. He asked me of things we could do with it to fix it up. It runs strong and the cosmetics are good. The previous owner had only removed the overhead lights, deck gun, and radio. It was originally owned by Houston F.D..
Anyway, my question is this.... What are those lights called that I see on the grills of so many of the District of Columbia rigs? They are three lights on a Y-frame and I believe they spin. Who maufactures/sells them? It must be an eastern thing because I have never seen one on a rig in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, or Utah. I found a picture of one on a D.C. engine but I won't post it, just link it, copyrights and all that jazz. Bottom picture on the page, Engine 16, light on the grill. I thought one of these lights may be a cool and unique addition for the restore. Thanks for your help..

That would be a Buckeye Roto-Ray, a modern version being manufactured by "Roto-Ray" I believe somewhere in Virginia.

You've made my day!
Thanks to you both. I will take some pics of the truck next time I'm there and see if I can post them.
