Hey guys
I have a question. If I was fired from a part-time job when I was 20, now 22, do I have any type of chance of becoming a firefighter? It wasn't anything major like theft or anything for me being fired. Since then I've only had one job because I am still finishing up with school. Any replies would be helpful.
Thanks

The bottom line is, yes you have a chance!
During the testing process, don't lie about your past. Be straight forward, confident, and most of all -- calm. What every firefighter expects from his/her brother is loyalty and integrity. Embrace these characteristics and it will help smooth out your past.
Good Luck,
