I was wondering what the difference was between and explorer and a junior firefighter. I am from eastern pennsylvania, a little north of philly and have never heard of an explorer before firehouse.com. So, whats the difference?

Same thing, just spelled differently. Explorers are technically a boy scout organization, although most explorer posts don't do anything remotely related to boy scout activities other than send in the paperwork once a year and have their insurance.
Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.
