Hey folks,
I just had a quick question for those of you more experienced. I've been through the basic red card classes, looked, applied, and was just about hired by a few hotshot and hand crews out west. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances this summer, i can't spend the entire season so far away from home. I was wondering if anyone knew of Fire Crews in the Northeast? Im located in the Southern ADK mtns of NY, and have contacted the local forest ranger. I will be volunteering with NY DEC, but am looking for more of a formal crew. So if anyone knows anything, let me know!
Thanks!
Caela
