    Default Limbaugh defends Somali Pirates

Rush continues to prove he's on the Oxy again.

    Excerpt:

They were kids. The story is out, I don't know if it's true or not, but apparently the hijackers, these kids, the merchant marine organizers, Muslim kids, were upset, they wanted to just give the captain back and head home because they were running out of food, they were running out of fuel, they were surrounded by all these US Navy ships, big ships, and they just wanted out of there. That's the story, but then when one of them put a gun to the back of the captain, Mr. Phillips, then bam, bam, bam. There you have it, and three teenagers shot on the high seas at the order of President Obama.
Since Limbaugh found a medical issue (which could have been easily resolved) to avoid serving in the military during wartime he's unaware that a good portion of the fighting and dying is done by teenagers.

Shocking as this may be to you, I listened to that monologue. I can tell you for absolute certain that you have completely taken it out of context. That tiny quote was from a satirical monologue. It was satire. Total satire. And you know it. If you don't know it, then you ought to improve your reading skills.

Rush does a lot of things under the guise of "satire"; but I assure you, his intentions are crystal clear. He is the King of Sleazeballs.

So was he complimenting Obama on his handling of this incident and was really praising him for allowing the military to kill teens?

    I would like to know.

Out of context or not, it was a completely idiotic comment. Rush is the same guy who stated he wants to see the president fail, which leads me to believe despite whatever the decision, Rush would have chastised it. Would he have made such comments if the exact same decison was made by John McCain? I'm willing to bet he would be praising McCain for the decision.

Politics aside, these pirates were not holding toys to Capt Phillips, but actual weapons. Teens or not, they were playing in the big boys game and have to play by the big boy rules. Are we saying that soldiers and sailors should check for ID's on people holding guns to ensure they are legal adults? No, because they would not hesitate to take out our troops. So what if they were scared, they should have been, but that is the game they chose to play and the life the chose to lead.

Is it really any different with street gangs? Is a police officer being shot at by a teen with an automatic weapon going to give a rat's *** how old the kid is? No, the cop is going to shoot back. Same thing for a teenager holding a gun in a hostage standoff and threatening lives, they will be met with the same fate as these pirates.

Out of context or not, Rush is a moron to make such an idiotic statement.

What do you expect from Boss Limbaugh?? He's the master of deceit, lies, sexism and he's a coward in my opinion; a pied piper of negativism. You wonder why the Republican Party is in such poor shape? They let people like him lead the party. Lincoln is rolling over in his grave.

Can you show me where he was chosen to lead the Republican Party?

You libs are killing me. You need to bone up on your sature a little. There are alot of issues out there that are legitimate. This is a non-issue.

sc, why don't you just retitle the thread: "We Hate Rush Limbaugh's Friggin' Guts!"? At least there would be a shred of intellectual honesty there.

Let me nip a few things here: Yes, he lied about oxycodone. Yes, he lied to his listeners about his hearing loss. No, I do not agree with everything he says. No, I do not blindly believe whatever he says. Yes, he is an entertainer. One I happen to enjoy listening to. If you don't like him, do not listen to him. And yes, I hope the President fails, too. Because if he fails, his marxist agenda fails, too.

But if you are going to criticize tiny snippets of the show, you should put it in proper context and actually know what you are talking about.

No one. He assumed leadership as a result of the vacuum that exists.

Don't hate Rush. I don't know him. I'm just pointing out his hypocrisy. Plain and simple. He was very critical of anyone criticizing Bush and referred to them as traitors or unpatriotic.

I think that Boss Limbaugh is emblematic of the problems in the Republican Party; why they follow him is a mystery to me; they are in complete disarray; have no real leadership other them the Boss; no viable candidates that can run for President in 2012; a majority of the American people have seen through the facade of the party and now realized that they were hoodwinked by Gingrich/Rove/Cheney/Bush/Delay/Lott & Company and gave the democrats a mandate to change things.

And ScFire is correct; people don't hate Boss Limbaugh; but they see through the hipocracy of him. That's a telling point.

Sounds like what you find in the inner cities. And we criticize our police for doing this too. Tell Rush if it is good enough for our own citizens then it is good enough for the Somalis, why should we treat them differently? (sarcasm off)

How come you liberals don't address this; "And yes, I hope the President fails, too. Because if he fails, his Marxist agenda fails, too."

But to be fair to King Obama and Queen Pelosi, we have been headed down this track for the last 100 years, only Obama has accelerated the pace.

They're called "tea parties" Billy Bob. Thanx to Google I learned what "tea bagging" really is. It's an obscure homosexual act. We're not surprised that you're familiar with it Billy Bob. Is there something you'd like to get out into the open? I bet all your friends up in them thar mountains think you have a reel purdy mouth.

The only people referring to the rallies as "tea bagging" is Olbermann, Maddow, the rabid liberal blogosphere, and others like you, who apparently have carnal knowledge of what tea bagging really is.
