    The chief of the of the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Department was killed while responding to a call last night.

    I John K. Johnson of North Carolina send my deepest sympathy to the family and the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Department family on their lost of Chief Buck. May his words of wisdom continue to be a guiding light for the future fire fighters.

    As a fellow Queen Anne's County Volunteer firefighter and EMT I Kristina Thompson send my thoughts and prayers to the family of Chief Clough and all my brothers and sisters in Sudlersville and everyone else in the county. This is going to be a tough and trying time for our county.
