Orem Assist in Pleasant Grove Fire

Orem was dispatched to assist Pleasant Grove on the Commerical Structure Fire. Crews arrived on scene and took a defensive position from the onset.

The total dollar loss was estminated at 1.3 Million

Actually , I do not have that information about this incident Sorry. I just took the photos and was off duty so I did not get that kind of information about this one.

The building was a pipe mfg company. Call time was about 0600. PG is a combination department with a full time engine and ambulance crew and have on call 2nd engine and rescue. (a new truck came in service after this incident). Both engines were dispatched initially, once on scene the officer called Orem for additional resources. The fire was defensive from the beginning. I just got off duty and was driving to a 2nd job when the call came out, so I missed the action.
