I no longer do ARFF, but I was stationed at Andrews AFB, MD. I've also been to Duluth, MN more times than I can count and almost joined the NG there as a firefighter when I got out of active duty.

Wow. Those were some great planes.

Had one land in Eau Claire when I was working. He was heading to the EAA show in Oshkosh, WI and stopped for gas. He was coming from someplace in Washington. He let me walk in and look around, kick the tires and stuff. What a great plane and it sounds awesome on take off!!

    Louisville International

Requested the forum due to the FAA Reauthorization Bill in the House right now. The possibility of it becoming law and requiring a structural response at airports makes the availability of people in the structural world not available on arff.info a good thing.

Great town too. Love the blues bar we went to....can't remember the name but it just opened under new owners. On the street that is going to be renovated to compete with 4th Street Live which is a corporate owned deal. This area is going to be a local Mom and Pop area for the tourists like me!

    I LOVE George Dickle.....

I have recently been turned onto Asbach...a German brandy that is so so smooth, smoother than Crown Royal, my old stand by.

You should make a road trip to the northwoods here and we can do a taste test.

LOL, yea we know how to throw a party if it involves KY Bourbon.
If you come in next year give me heads up, I'll try to get you out to our station and maybe over to the planes in staging. They change the policy on looking at the military a/c each year.

I am an ARRFF firefighter . However I wont disclose my location as that will lead to my identity. It is not that I wish to troll this site, However I intend on bringing up for discussion issues that can be quite controversial and I know my supervisors skim through these boards. I can seriously see my *** in a ringer for exposing the truth.

Boeing Fire Department (Philadelphia Station), majority of our aircraft activity is the Chinook Helicopters. But we occasionally encounter other aircraft on our flight ramp. We run 3 ARFF Trucks, 1 Engine, 1 Special Ops Rescue, 1 Tactical ARFF Truck, 1 Ambulance and multiple utility vehicles. Firefighters work in four separate platoons on 12 hour shifts.
