    Default Ferrara introduces PUC-fighter

Looks like FFA has found a way to battle the Pierce PUC. Notice their press release directly addresses items discussed about the PUC, including the pump capacity.

    Take a look: FFA MVP

The MVP looks just like a Pierce PUC just a different name. The pictures in the link do tell alot but looks like Pierce might have some competition now for with the PUC. Do they ahve one at the FDIC show?

Default Looks like it has a regular pump house

Doesn't look like the pump is under the cab like the PUC.

I agree. Can you get into the pumphouse and service it like people claim you can the PUC pump? Or is the pump still midship and difficult to work on?

I see the Ferrara website says they use a Qmax pump but they are also offering pump and roll? With a Qmax pump? I wonder if they have to use a different pump if a department wants pump and roll.

    We shall see.

HaHa. Love it. My company was looking at trucks and it seemed like IFS (Tak4) was like a mandatory spec item for Peirce. I did ask that question, and more. Ferrarra does offer IFS, it's just not called Tak4.

Also it looks like this rig pumps more than 1100 gpm.

The Ferrara has a secondary Hale PTO pump to prove the pump and roll capability. AP as I recall. I have a flyer somewhere in my pile of stuff.

Demo certainly had a pile of stuff loaded on board.
