You should pose this question down in "Public Information and Media Relations."
"Loyalty Above all Else. Except Honor."

That's about as vague a question as you could have asked. Every incident is different. You can't just have a pocketful of handy "lines" for the media....

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

We put the wet stuff on the red stuff until the red stuff was gone. Now so are we.

Example:
Any Fire Department had report of a structure fire in the 100 block of Any Street. Upon arrival firefighters found a single story home fully engulfed. All occupants were out of the home. Firefighters began an attack on the fire and quickly extinguished the blaze. No reports of injuries and fire officials are still ivestigating the fire to determine the cause.Puttin the wet stuff on the red stuff!
