    Default cascade question

So we are considering requesting a station cascade system. I am wondering what those of you who have been successful put down for the question about which standard you are complying with. (voluntary or statutory compliance with a standard). Thanks.

    NFPA 1901
    NFPA 1500
    NFPA 1852

For the most of us it will be voluntary compliance for NFPA standards. For it it to be a statutory compliance with NFPA standards requires the local/state governments to adopt them.

NFPA 1989 is what it will have to be maintained in compliance with. And since DHS has adopted NFPA as law for public safety technically in the scope of the grant program everything you buy has to be compliant with the current NFPA code edition, and program being law, everything NFPA is statutory.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have access to the specific NFPA guidelines because i can't afford the fee. Can anyone just summarize what these standards reference in regards to a cascade system? Thanks

You can view them for free, just cannot print them or down load them, a good resource, but it would be nice to have a copy in hand.
