To my fellow Firefighter Brothers....
Anyone out there have any info on Naval Distric Washington FD? Looking for anything you have with cost of living, promotions, morale, stations... am making a decision to go and interview and take a physical agility after getting a phone call. Thanks guys, look forward to hearing from you.

NDW covers a large area and several bases. Every one is a little different, and cost of living can vary depending on which base you are at and how far you are willing to drive. Which base were you looking at?

You can't be picky
You applied for a Federal FF Job and now you might not show for your Physical agility test? You must have several fire departments knocking on your door to come work for them!

Here is the best way to become a Federal FF
I'm Lieutenant in the Northwest Just North East of Seattle. I was a Federal FF for 3 1/2 years I could not get onto any basses near Where I live so I applied for everywhere that was hiring, my first offer was Federal Fire Dept. Hawaii I took the job and I kept getting job offers while I was in Hawaii. I stayed there for a little over a year and when an opening occurred near where I lived I transfered back home. DONT WAIT. Get your foot in the door !!!!
