I put in an application for Norfolk probably about a year ago. I never heard anything for some reason. I am pretty confused as to why.

I wouldn"t mind putting in another though and giving it a shot. Any idea when they are going to hire or when their next testing process is going to take place?

Does Norfolk now require all members to be ALS certified?

Paramedic is not under the list of requirements so I'm going to say no. This seems to be an entry-level firefighters test.

Does the city pay 100% of firefighter medical and dental insurance or just a percentage and does the fire department offer an educational incentive pay program for people with degrees?
