    Default Hand Tool Kit

    Simply asking for everyone's suggestions....

Please submit a very concise list of actual hand tools needed during extrication. Tools that can be placed in a tool box, or tool roll. Please dont list cribbing, etc. Attempt to limit the tools to a bare minimum, only those typically used. Also, list those that have multiple uses thus eliminating duplicate items.

    Thanks.

As my friend, Ron Moore, used to ask in his NYS AVET class... "you have seven, and only seven tools to take with you on a vehicle crash... what are they?". You can ask this the same way..."You have seven hand tools to carry with you at the scene of a motor vehicle crash... what are they?"

I saw this at FDIC. I might leave out the fire blanket and bring the cost down some, but seems to have much of what one might need.
