IAFPD in Peoria This Year.

I was wondering if anyone had plans to be in Peoria this year for the Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts conference.
It will be in the last part of June; I want to say June 24.
Just curious.

I believe that my chief and maybe one or two are planning on attending. They went up last year and had a good time. Liberty Fire.. 12 miles east of Quincy.

CR, I believe I’m going….next MABAS executive board meeting was seclude for the June 24 at Carol Stream when it was mentioned that this conference was at the same time. If they move it to Peoria, I’ll be going and I’ll need the credit card, not sure how many nights I will stay. Some were wondering why it was moved from Springfield, my guess would be an indoor convention center.

Well, Art, I just don't know. You meet some mighty shady characters at these conventions.
I'm going to try to come for at least one day but don't know for sure.
