Yep. One of the Captains who instructed us during our CPAT Orientation said the fail rate is 50% for the written... so pretty close to what you said.

Thats good, knock a buncha people out now, knock a buncha people out later at the CPAT! It's lookin good for those that are in shape, not loads and actually want a career and not just a pay check.

A lot of people say that the I/O Solutions test is flawed... which is the test that Howard County uses. Go to the Testing section of the forum and you'll see threads/rants on I/O Solutions.

Cellarnozzle... do you know if we're suppose to receive an application too? I heard we were but didn't get on in the email... maybe being mailed???

I believe we will get the applications after CPAT. I took CPAT down in Charlotte the week before the Howard County written test so I won't see you guys at CPAT, but good luck to everyone. Get your legs ready.

I'll be going down as well. I was told that it was filled but received a second email today stating that I've been confirmed, soooo... I assume somebody cancelled.

I would imagine at the very end of August thru September.

Can anyone tell me what their yellow envelope included when they passed the written test? My test results got sent via email since the test machine broke and I feel like I may not have gotten all of the paperwork.

    Default Interviews

Hey cellarnozzel, Can you give us any insight to the interview. I got a call yesterday to schedule my interview. I am going down on August 7th. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to everyone on CPAT.

From what I remember ( Interview was in November of 07) the interview was composed of a 3 person panel who each asked a few questions. It lasted about 20 minutes. Really the only question that I remember is "What do you know about Howard County?" Sorry but thats about all I can remember. Good luck to all.

Passed! It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I passed! I scheduled my interview for late August. Anyone familiar with the oral interview process? What happens afterwards?
