Seems to be the latest greatest light for your helmet from what I hear from dealers. Then agian, they tell you what you want to hear all the time. My question is to anyone out there, what is your experiences with these light despite the fact of being brand new? Also do you have any pros/cons to the light. Im looking at buying one but just would like to hear what people think about them first.
Thanks in advance.

The vantage appears to be a helmet mounted version of the TLR-1 weapon mounted light.
The TLR-1 weapon lights w/ C-4 LED are very bright and rather indestructable. I would consider one for a helmet light as they seem to be a hell of a lot brighter than any helmet light I have seen, and still light and compact.
Find out what batteries it takes first. The weapon lights use the CR123A 3V lithium batteries. If you have a local source and don't mind the extra cost I say go for it. You can even get plastic packs to hold multiple batteries to keep with your gear, so you will never be without. The bright side ( punny ) is that being an LED you won't go through as many batteries as you would with a halogen lamp.We do not rise to the occasion. We fall back to our level of training.

I have one and love it. Very bright, almost too bright at times. Uses the CR123 battery, lasts a long time. 6 hour burn time, but at the 4 hour mark it gets dimmer so that you do not completely lose light all at once. Blue LED on the back also to be seen from the rear.

I'm pretty set on buying one simple because its bright, and people have no complaints that ive heard, other then the light can be tough to turn on with a gloved hand.
