    Thanks guys.

Planning on taking a trip down there once I get in contact with our forum's poster from there. I've wanted to see the rig, and I might just have the chance now that I'm laid off from the railroad...

    Somebody called?

343, drop me a PM - you're welcome up here any time.

Gila - aside from the moving bumper, which I did not support from day one, care to point out which aspects of the rig are for "glory", "ego", "bells & whistles", or not performance based? I'd like to know...

I'll be in touch. Heading out of town to pickup some small labor type work while I'm unemployed... but it won't be long.

    Default BIG Apparatus

Mount Horeb, Wi has some very unique apparatus. I started my firefighting in Ct. and thought I had seen some pretty crazy apparatus until I saw a pic of an engine (HUGE Peterbuilt) which had 2 or 3 Federal Q's, and emergency lighting which would wake anyone up on the block as the apparatus drives by. I think it would be interesting to see what the cost is of the light and siren package alone on their apparatus.

I am NOT trying to smash them for how they spec their apparatus.

Considering FDMH re-uses most of the "special" lighting/siren (888s, beacons, Dual Q's) stuff, I don't think the cost is too high at all.
