I haven't been able to find the entire document only some changes, this looks like a standard that will drive up prices for water rescue teams and have no bearing on our safety. I know Mustang Survival is trying to inject some common sense into this standard. If you have some insite please comment.
This looks like a potential mess for already financially strapped teams.

Anyone know of ANY equipment that is 1952 approved? The standard is 2 years old now and I haven't been able to find anything. Also anyone know any specifics about the "recertification" process. It reads like they want the manufacturer or a 3rd party to inspect gear annually (for most tests) Does anyone know any more?
