What all do you guys know about the Bullard UST helmet? I have looked at them and they seem nice and lightweight. How do they compare to Cairns helmets? Any information would be nice, thanks.

We are issued the Bullard helmets here. I don't like them. The suspension system is funky and doesn't seem to ever fit anyone right and is difficult to adjust. It also rides very high compared to a Cairns. I'd reccomend the Cairns.

One of the guys I work withn uses a Bullard UST and my son has a Bullard UST. They both seem to like them and I have heard no complaints about fit or adjusting from either one. By the way they have about as opposite head shapes and sizes as you could ever get.
My suggestion is to try one on see how it fits and go from there.

Seriously, the only thing worse than a Bullard is a Ben2 or maybe a Chieftain.

Dude,
I have a Chieftan. I have been using it for about 5 years now and frankly I love it. It fits me well, is comfortable to wear, and has held up to the abuse of practice burns better than any other helmet (including leather) that I have ever had. AND, the price was fantastic.
So tell me what your experience with them is and why you don't like them.
Thanks.

I have worn both cairns helmets and the bullard ust. It is my opinion that the cairns helmet are better in comfort, durabulity and looks but goes with what works for you I just didn't like the UST

i've worn several different brands and styles, I never noticed an appreciable difference in fit or feel.
