I just got called back in off IRR for a year deployment. I still going to have a year in half when i get home. I wanna be a firefighter in the civilian world. With it being so competitive I wanna do whatever I can to put me above everyone else. I was thinking about signing up for the Reserves or National Gaurd and changing my MOS to 21M. Is this a good Idea, do you get Certified in anything during AIT? Or would volunteering be good enough?
