Could it be that Rick Tye was forced out because of all the Level II and Level III CAR's that were issued to WSI sites throughout most of the bases in Iraq? Coagulated foam, guys not staying at their posts/standby locations, taking crash trucks off the airfield to go to the gym, The Rescue crew who had to ask the pilot how to shut an aircraft down during an ORI, etc. etc.
The heavy-handed management/micro-managing from Baghdad made it very difficult, if not impossible for some SSL's at their sites to manage effectively. Training was hindered. Truth be told, Tye did not run a very effective department, and most everyone knows that! Now if they would just get rid of fat Tony!

At our site we heard that is exactly the reason he did get booted. One of his officers turned him in...Hoping to slide into his spot....it didn’t work out so hot.

He is allegedly going to be opening contracts in Saudi and somewhere else I forget. As far as the foam it was still good. Refrac was fine. Taking trucks off the flight line to go to the gym didn't happen. The gym is located by the taxi way by the hotspot and it was not on duty at the hotspot. Funny how it all trickles down. But none the less I can quit pooooing on the tye transmits they would hang on the bathroom stall walls.

We went from Tye Transmits to Dicks Directives.... WOOOT!

Its shameful some of the behavior and rumor-mongering I've just read.... while I do not care to share info, I will say you're a bit off.

So to keep it short my friends.... I'll leave you with a small piece of advice. Be careful when one speaks of things they don't know... there's a very thin line between talking smack and slander.... you may be writing a check that your butt or overpaid tail can't cash. I wouldn't be so sure that FH would protect your identity when they get handed a subpoena.

Besides... If you can't take it... leave. No one is keeping you here... except for you Poe.... no one wants you here.

Do NOT go to work for this company!!!!! I am here now and am just trying to finsh a year! The company is going under! Chief Ty, Tony Collins, and Uden are all curently under chu arrest for stealing money from the goverment! When they go to the DFAC to eat, they have to be escorted by MP's, this company has only a couple months left period! And they are termanating 70 FF positions within the month.
