The city has officially been under a hiring freeze for six or seven months now, plus however long they weren't hiring before that. Any chance of light at the end of the tunnel?

Roseville
Our Fire Chief just resigned so we will be hiring a new chief soon. I am expecting big changes in the next few months.
The way things are going I do not predict a new firefighter hire anytime soon.

It's been a year since the hiring page was updated. Just thought I'd refresh the thread and see if there's anything new going on.

"Resigned"... :-)
Hang in there AdamWest. New leadership is on its way and chances are with some turnover we have had we may be able to staff 5 per shift in 2010 and we may see a couple new hires... not FT but PT.
