    I dont know where i should post this.Ok, so i was on my first ride-out about two months ago and my captian asked me " why are we firefighters allowed into someones home without question and they could have there worldy possesions out in the open?" So i have been pondering upon this for quite some time. I was just wondering if i could get someone elses input on this? thank you

    This is likely due to the integrity and selflessness of those who came before us. Always willing to help, never their to judge. IE, no matter what, firefighters are the good guys.

    Its a reputation to live up to.

    If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?
