    Default St. Charles

    Can anyone tell me if St. Charles would be a good fire dept to apply to? Are they a growing dept? Is compensation decent?

    I have a couple of friends who work there and they love it. I have another friend who just got on there and he likes it so far. The testing process is really hard thought they are well know for having one of the hardest tests in the area.

    St. Charles is rumored to be one of the highest paid municipal departments in the state with decent benefits. I know three guys that I use to work with on another F.D. who work there and love it.
