My first suggestion would be school to learn proper spelling and grammar. The ability to read, write, and speak the English language is a requirement for most fire departments today.

Assuming you are a teenager since you're in the "explorer/junior" section, the simplest thing to do is go down to your local firehouse and see whats up. They may or may not have a youth program. If they do, ask how to join. If they don't, maybe they can point you to a nearby department that does.

Yes, 90% of Volunteer Fire Depts. Have a Junior/Cadet/Explorer Program.
Just Don't Be afraid to ask, If you are really into Firefighting, Go for it!

Im sure if the Dept that You want to go to doesn't have a Junior/Cadet/Explorer Program ,One that is Somewhat around you will have!
