I was in the morning session and it was a full house - maybe 300-400 people. They had two sessions. The itself was different then any other test I've taken. Lots of judgment and reasoning type questions. I didn't do as well as I would have liked.

I was in the morning session, too. Scored a 92, patiently waiting...

Scored an 85%. Pretty unhappy with my score, i had just come off a 48 and was running all night. Anyone know the cutoff the departments use?

I scored an 86 and have not heard anything yet. I have a friend who scored an 84 and was asked to test for Boulder. Not too sure how they pick their candidates for testing. Anyone heard of any other depts from the list hiring now?

I'm wondering what the policy is on retaking the test. Are we able to retake it in November?

You can take the test as often as you want. You're not really "re-taking" it, you're just taking it again, if that makes sense.

I've heard that you score lower after you've already taken it (which is what I did!). I think a majority of candidates take it annually so they're always eligible as a candidate.

    Default Score

I got a 96.57 on mine.. Was real happy with that score! Invited to Thornton and Boulder but nothing panned out yet. Hopefully someone else will be hiring soon.

    Default hey everyone...

I am very strongly considering heading out there from Virginia to take the test on November 2nd. Has anyone heard of any of the participating fire departments hiring anytime soon (within the year when the scores from Nov '09 are still eligible)? Any information would help!!
