bye KBR...
Since DynCorp International Inc. and Fluor Corp. won logcap4 for Afgan I would be looking on their web sites continuously. I believe ITT may be used as a sub as well. I am sure we will start hearing more about it in a few weeks.

Having just returned from South Afghanistan, I talked to a bunch of the civilian contractors, here is the information that I got.
Infusion is correct, the two companies that they mentioned are two of the big dogs. There is another, Supreme services. They are most commonly referenced as the cooks, but an inspector that I talked to was contracted through supreme. Also, with a greater US presence, KBR does have some sites as well.
If anyone would like information about some of the amenities at locations in the south, feel free to contact me. I also can provide some pictures.
Best of luck!

Taos Industries, a subsidiary of Agility Defense & Government Services, and its partners DynCorp International and CH2M HILL have been awarded a task order for logistics support for the Afghanistan-South Area of Responsibility (AOR) under the U.S. Army’s LOGCAP IV contract.

I am one of the Inspectors assigned to the north (Task Order 2).
Fluor won the north with Task Order 5. ITT will be handling the fire side of stuff. Currently the have opened up some slots on the website. Check them out, throw your resume up and expect the phone call. We have no fire dept up here at all. Only Bagram has one established (KBR). That will most likely get soaked up by ITT. It gets cold - so bring a good jacket!A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.

OK guys here is the site to check out: http://sh.webhire.com/public/591/
Type is fire for the keyword. You might have to click the next page once or twice to get the fire jobs. Fluor is the prime and they are subbing/partnering whatever with ITT for the fire services. Dynacorps won the contract for down south. Not sure what they are planning.
It might take some time but eventually we will have some depts set up. Not sure how long it will be till the take-over in BAF happens either.A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.

Thanks for the link. Too bad I lack Inspector I and Telecommunicator I & II.
I have FO I, Instructor I but it seems everyone wants those other two along with everything else. I also have driver certs, etc.
Any idea where I could obtain telecommunicator? Thanks.
