You posted this same question three times. ????

I know you are a new member, BUT POSTING FOR THE FIRST TIME, TAKES TIME FOR IT TO SHOW. The mods check to be sure you aren't a spammer.

If you join a department then its their place to furnish members with a pager, PPE and anything else. You shouldn't have to buy anything.

IF by cahnce you do, then there is probably a local radio shop that deals with fire pages that will know what the tone and frequency would be for your dept.

I don't think its' possible to have low band (46.xxx) and UHF (458.xxx) on the same pager. I've seen dual band mobiles, but they use seperate sources with a single head.

Same question you asked on the vollies page. Except here you're a junior. I dont know your dept.'s sop's but around here juniors dont respond to calls and dont carry pagers. This makes me believe you are a buff who wants to go to calls. If you are for real, I dont think you can have a low band and high band on the same pager.

None of the major pager companies offer anything but single band pagers.

    Steve, where are you from?
